In the state parks of Texas, RVs are allowed to park for a few nights or couple of days, and you can stay at the campground for as long as you want with your RV. Be informed that in Texas, most of its state parks offer electric and water hook-ups in their campgrounds. If you just simply wish to park your RV, then you are still fortunate because these state parks offer excellent lodging facilities. In the off season, if you happen to travel to the Yellowstone state park, the crowd is smaller during this time and you will feel as if you have the whole place all to yourself.
With your RV, you can make follow the wine trail and make a stop in one of the finest wine makers in Texas. During late fall, it is harvest time for wine and you can spend a day sampling their fine wines, while nibbling on bread and cheese.
There is a regional Christmas tree lighting in Texas Hill during the Christmas season, and you can go there in your RV.
When you travel about Texas in your RV, you get to create your own adventures that you may not need to stick to a planned tour.
